There are a couple of things that some people have pointed out

  • It attracts the cover star Damian Lillard in directly from the get-go.     As previously mentioned, the NBA 2K21 gameplay trailer gives us a good look at the shot meter. In the latest NBA 2K names, players had to get to"green" on a vertical curve shot meter to obtain the good shot off. Here's a glance at it by a YouTube video screenshot (through PAC Hoops).The fresh shot meter is presently a horizontal curve. There is a line on the shot meter which players might have to tap a controller button to period their shooter with. See the screenshot below with Dame. For many people change is good. Not so much, and there are quite a few who need that facet of the sport to remain as it had been.

Other commenters seemed to concur with that idea. It appears it isn't being felt by others, although some may adopt the shift. That's understandable, but it's hard to understand if this will make the experience worse or better, before the Buy NBA 2K21 MT Coins new game is out.
