Dustbin Mould Maintenance Process

  • 1. All water pipes should be drained and all residual water should be dried to avoid rust due to accumulated water. There must be no water trapped in the Dustbin Mould(FURNITUREMOULD).

    2. Check to make sure all bolts, plates, clamps, etc. are in place.

    3. Take the last shot as an example of the typical quality of the shot. Store these parts in a mould.

    4. Care should be taken to pay attention to any missing or clogged parts. Samples from the clogging chamber should be retained for repair by the mould manufacturer.

    5. The dustbin mould should be cleaned with a safe solvent to remove the varnish and accumulate from the moulding process.

    6. Check the depth of the vents at least four clock faces around the cavity surface.

    7. The injector system should be checked for proper alignment. If the thimble holes become egg-shaped, it must be determined whether they should be re-drilled and drilled to a larger size, and the existing pins replaced with oversized pins.

    8. It is necessary to analyze and determine the return spring damage, re-plating or re-texturing due to material erosion of the dustbin mould surface, replacement of gate or gate inserts, new flow block, etc. Replace all springs after 50,000 cycles.
