Alternatives to No Flow Table Mould from Multiple Systems

  • In view of the high cost of a no-flow Table Mould(FURNITUREMOULD), it is desirable to consider alternatives provided by multiple systems, through various regions and entry locations of the manifold, and the type of tip. The design chosen must facilitate the use of the basic runner and gate system components for subsequent cavities that can then be run in the same susceptor and system. Experts can provide very versatile and economical inventory components. Standard or custom manifolds can have a variety of ports or inlet locations.

    A novel process employs a cast heat manifold and achieves the effect of a straight cavity gate in a multi-chamber table mould with an integral heater for the runner heating edge or valve gate.

    Other forms of hot manifold table mould use a hot runner plate with a cartridge heater and an outlet nozzle with electrical heating that directly enters the component. The other is an insulated runner table mould that utilizes a very large area of the flow path in the third panel.

    In this case, the "A" board and the support plate are locked together. The material flowing into the chute will harden when it touches the surface of the chute but will continue to flow or "tunnel" through the center of the chute. In this case, the outer hardened material core is insulated as the central fluid plastic moves into the cavity. This table mould uses a probe or hot tip at the gate-gate to prevent freezing in the gate and allow for slower cycle speeds. Insulated runner table mould is simpler and less expensive than other heat manifold types.
